Beware of doctors who are claiming great experience who are not in a supervised training program or have not completed their training. Be also informed that Membership of different Colleges, including overseas Colleges, simply means that the doctor has paid membership fees and DOES NOT indicate that the doctor has any specific level of expertise. Only Fellows of the Australasian College of Phlebology have the right to be called a Phlebologist. A "Certified Sclerotherapist" is the most "junior" qualification and can be gained with only 1 year of experience.
