Dr Paul Varcoe established The Leg Vein Clinic in Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia in 1995 to provide the most up-to-date treatment of all vein problems including varicose and spider veins. Dr Varcoe is the past Vice President of The Australasian College of Phlebology. He continues to take an active role in education and often has "doctors - in - training" at his clinic.

Flashy advertising or experience of the doctor?

Beware of doctors who are claiming great experience who are not in a supervised training program or have not completed their training. Only Fellows of the Australasian College of Phlebology have the right to be called a Phlebologist. A "Certified Sclerotherapist" is the most "junior" qualification and can be gained with only 1 year of experience.
